Gluten Sucks, This Doesn't: S&F Sweet Thai Chili Sauce

Why So Obsessed?

I’m kind of enamored with condiments. They’re a godsend for weeknight dinners: a protein, a vegetable, a sauce of sorts, and voilà. A quick meal that is so much better (tasting, and for you) than takeout. Since picking up a bottle of this Sweet Thai Chili Sauce on a whim, I’ve since gone through 3 of 'em. It’s one of those things that will quickly become a refrigerator staple. You can find full product info here

So Where Can I Get It?

I always grab a bottle when I’m at Whole Foods - it's typically near the fish/meat section. Most recently, a 12 oz. bottle was $3.99. There’s also a store locator on the S&F website, which will likely point you to your nearest Whole Foods :)

What Should I Do With It?

My favorite pairings are with tofu and salmon – both of which you’ll find recipes for below. I can imagine it would also be pretty amazing slathered on chicken. You can use it on it’s own, or doctor it up with other Asian/Thia ingredients (think gluten free soy sauce, sesame oil, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, rice wine vinegar, sesame seeds, scallions, etc). You'll learn that it's great for thickening up other sauces, like in a quick stir-fry.

  2. So glad to see some product reviews on this site. What a wonderful idea. The bigger question is when are we going to see some product "beat-downs"?
